Muzhenko told about the reasons of deterioration of the situation in the Donbass

Muzhenko recalled that ATO forces have the right to return fire.

Chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko stated that the aggravation of the situation in the ATO area due to the fact that the militants were defeated in the area of Avdeevka.

He said this in comments to the Ukrainian truth.

“I think it’s all a reaction to the plant, for the defeat which they received. They had panic, despair. They increase firing to stabilize their psychological state. Aggression to OSCE and explains,” – said Muzhenko.

He also recalled that the Ukrainian military have the right to return fire.

“Squad leader when life is threatened he or his subordinates at a specific position is a fire, or is a threat to the extension of any unit prior to this post – has the right to return fire from the weapons that have it departments,” – said Muzhenko.

He also said that if the militants used Minsk agreements prohibited weapons, the ATO forces have the right to “give an adequate response”.

“If we are talking to the shelling of the city, we have the right to respond adequately. Not necessarily out of the city, there is another artillery. It all depends on those means which are effective to neutralize the threat to the lives of our soldiers,” – said Muzhenko.

Recall that in the area of ATO for the past day recorded 117 of attack from terrorists.
