Every month in the Donbass imported 500 thousand ammunition, says Muzhenko.
The chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko said that Russia supplies the Donbass ammunition 500 thousand and 5 thousand tons of fuel monthly.
He said this during a joint session of the military-scientific Council of the armed forces and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv today.
“Continued supplies from the territory of the Russian Federation of arms, military equipment and combustive-lubricating materials,” he said.
“The volume of supplies is about 5 thousand tons of fuel and 500 thousand monthly ammunition,” – said Muzhenko.
Also, the General staff told about the deployment groups in the Donbass.
“Militarization of the Russian Federation temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions by deploying and support of military factions. Today in the occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions established and deployed the first and the second “army corps”, a number more than 30 000 people managed the newly created 8 th combined arms army of the southern military district of the Russian Federation”, – he said.
