For the time of the war in Donbass (April 2014) 2197 killed Ukrainian servicemen.
This was stated by the chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko.
“Combat losses of the Ukrainian Armed forces during this period amounted to 2197 persons dead and about 8 thousand were wounded”, – he said during a meeting with military attaches of foreign States in Kiev.
Earlier Muzhenko said that the day before yesterday in the area of ATO observed a new aggravation. According to him, the Ukrainian military have permission to respond adequately to the provocation of the enemy.
