In his post, Musk added five short videos. They show the launch vehicle from Earth, the separation and return of the rocket back to the planet the craft into orbit and refuel it, deploy solar panels, as well as the flight itself and landing on the surface of Mars.
“This is a simulation of how will operate the spacecraft for SpaceX. Major improvements will be revealed on Friday at the conference IAC2017 in Australia. Certain aspects of the new design and its applications will be unexpected,” wrote Elon Musk in the comments to the video. So, expect news from IAC2017, 68th Congress of the International Federation of Astronautics, which will be held on 25-29 September in Adelaide (Australia).
