The Agency has been informed about the cyber incidents in Ukraine with the use of a cipher WannaCrypt.
Most information systems of Ukrainian state institutions managed to avoid infection by a malicious program WannaCrypt, which has disrupted tens of thousands of computers around the world.

According to the report, the vast majority of infections occurred due to the discovery of malicious applications (Word documents, PDF files) that were sent to the email addresses of many commercial structures and government agencies.
“As a result of operative measures taken and early warning of mass distribution of Cypher WannaCrypt and provide necessary recommendations managed to avoid most infections information systems of the public sector”, – stated in the message.
