In Ukraine monetization of subsidies for the population can start from 2019. In an interview, said Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko.
“If the first half of 2018, we will see that it is a working mechanism, what is the credibility of the system and no cheating, no use of funds for any other purpose, we will be ready from 1 January 2019 to start the monetization level consumers. We’ll take the second half of the year (2018 – ed.) for preparation. This will be enough time to 2019 it worked”, – said Marchenko.
Thus, according to him, there is a risk associated with a large number of subsidianes 6.5 million families.
“We believe that we need stricter criteria for grant recipients to take into account the property status of the households. We are now discussing the Ministry with this issue”, – said Marchenko.
