The illegal annexation of Crimea will not be recognized, and the Minsk agreement must be fully implemented, say in the EU.
Today at the meeting of the European Union, which will consider the aggravation of the Donbas, the Commonwealth will reaffirm its firm position regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
This was stated by EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini.
“From the European Union, we have a clear vision: the illegal annexation of Crimea will not be recognized, and the Minsk agreement must be fully implemented, including the fact that you must first install the ceasefire, restore calm in Eastern Ukraine. It is a necessity”, she said.
“I am convinced that today the EU will also reiterate its firm position and will work with all partners, including in the Normandy format, involving Ukraine and Russia to find a way to resolve the conflict “, – said the head of the European diplomatic service.
