Mixed planes: the British instead of London, by mistake got in Las Vegas

The representative of the airline confirmed the incident.

“When I got on the plane, I thought that the plane is too big for this short flight, but I wasn’t worried. I put my headphones on and fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw (on the screen plane — ed.) that we flew past the UK. I asked the passenger next to me what was happening, and he told me: “We’re going to Vegas!”. I was like “Oh shit!” You can expand the plane? “—said the passenger is a loser newspaper.

Jankowski wrote a message to his pregnant wife via wi-fi network on the plane that he was in Las Vegas. According to him, the American representatives of the immigration control behaved with him like “a common criminal”.

“They seem to think I snuck into a plane that is cheap to fly to Vegas,” said Jankowski.

The total cost of the trip more than 27 thousand kilometers amounted to 878 euros, which Jankowski spent on food, lodging, and flights home. He had to fly from Las Vegas back to Cologne, from there to Stuttgart, and only then in London.

Once in London he could not fly because the airline Eurowings has made it to the black list of passengers. Jankowski house was only on 2 July, although the Cologne is less than 500 miles from London.

The airline representative confirmed to the newspaper the incident. “This passenger went through the checkpoints, his documents were checked by the Federal police. Given the mistakes of the employee providing the service, the passenger managed to get on long-haul flights. Power and Eurowings think security threats during all this time did not arise”, — quotes the Daily Telegraph the reply of the representative of the company.
