Conceptual crossover gets an electric drivetrain and full-time 4WD system.
Company Mitsubishi has published the first teaser image of the new conceptual crossover. The car will be called e-EVOLUTION and will be presented at the motor show in Tokyo, which opens on 25 September, the press service of the brand. The production version of the car in the future may become the new flagship of the Japanese company.
“This car is the high performance of the aerodynamic coupe-SUV will combine the full-time 4WD system and an electric drivetrain with an advanced artificial intelligence technology”, — explained in Mitsubishi. All other information about the new product is kept secret.
Another premiere of the company at the motor show will be a concept minivan Delica, which is a harbinger eponymous sixth-generation model. It is expected that the Japanese will show a pre-production version of the new model, the current generation which is produced since 2006. According to preliminary data, commercial van will feature a 2.2-liter turbo developing 170 HP and 392 Nm of torque.
Van in the style of the model Xpander presented at the beginning of August the motor show in Jakarta. Xpander is a serial version of the concept car XM presented last summer. The company says that the model “combines outstanding comfort and versatility of a minivan, the technical ability, durability and driving characteristics inherent to Mitsubishi Motors in the SUV segment”.
