“We interact with our colleagues from the Russian Federation on development of the draft credit agreement, but the decision of the government of the Russian Federation about granting of the loan is not accepted”, — said the head of the Finance Ministry of Belarus.

Recall that in 2019, 65% of payments of Belarus on external public debt will have loans to Russia and it is under control of Eurasian Fund for stabilization and development.

The total amount of payments on state debt of Belarus in 2019 will amount 8,736 bn, including: external debt of 5.8 billion, in domestic debt — 2,929 billion.

On redemption of bonds on the domestic market will focus 2,929 billion (33.5% of total payments), repayment of loans of Russia — 2,749 billion (31,5%), the loans of China’s banks — 1,343 billion (15.4 per cent), for loans of Eurasian Fund for stabilization and development — 1 billion (12%), for the payment of the bonds in foreign financial markets 363,9 million (4.2 percent), loans from the world Bank — 274,4 million rubles (3.1%), other payments on the national debt — 29.1 million rubles (0,3%).

At the end of 2018, it became known that there is agreement in principle on granting the Russian state loan of $ 630 million Belarus. But the feasibility of the use of these funds will depend on the situation with payments of external debt, said the Minister of Finance Maxim Ermolovich.

In the first quarter of 2019 Belarus also wishes to receive from EFSR final seventh tranche of the loan of 200 million dollars. Due to the fact that the terms of the loan postponed, EFSD recently, the Council made changes to the program of reforms for Belarus, supported financial by the EDB loan for $ 2 billion, of which Minsk has already received 1.8 billion dollars.
