Militants opened fire near the cars of the OSCE

The incident occurred near the occupied Verhneuralskogo noted in the OSCE.

While at a checkpoint near Verhneuralskogo, the team of Special monitoring mission of OSCE heard a shot from small arms in 20 metres East of its position from the militants of the DNR terrorist organization. About it LIGA.net reported in a press-service of the mission.

“About five minutes into the patrol, the SMM approached the checkpoint of entry‑departure (KPVV), located 6 km East on the Western edge of the village controlled by the DNI Verkhnetulomskoe (former October – ed.)”, – noted in press service.

According to the OSCE, at a time when observers gathered more information about violations of the cease-fire, which the members of the patrol heard near Gnutovo, the gunman demanded they drove through PPC.

“Drive forward, SMM patrol stopped 20 metres to the West of the KPVV to further evaluate the situation. At this time, the observers heard a shot from small arms at 20 m to the East, the SMM assessed as the action taken to attempt to expedite the departure of the patrol this area”, – said the press service.

The patrol left the area for security reasons.
