Club Italian Serie A AC Milan announced the departure of head coach Vincenzo Montella.
Latest for Montella was the match of the 14th round of the championship of Italy against Torino. “Milan” to “San Siro” painted a dull goalless draw that was the last straw for the boss “Ross Neri”.
The official website of AC Milan has confirmed the resignation of Montella. The functions of the chief coach of the club was entrusted to ex-Italy midfielder Gennaro Gattuso, who previously headed the youth team of Milan.
Montella headed “Milan” with the summer of 2016. Last season the “red-black” took the sixth place in Serie A and have qualified for the group stage of the Europa League.
