Mikhalkov runs a chain of restaurants with alcohol from his winery in Italy

Director Nikita Mikhalkov intends to launch a chain of restaurants Dodici Wine & Kitchen, a wine which will come from his winery Tenuta Dodici the Italian Tuscany. About it journalists were told by the managing partner Dodici Alexander Khazov.

The format of the restaurants will be replicated through the sale of the franchise, so the supply of alcohol from vineyards in Tuscany will be optional. Now in Russia there are only two places under the brand Dodici Wine & Kitchen — in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. Average bill is around 1.5 — 2 thousand rubles. The cost of opening a single institution for the franchisee will be about 10 million roubles, writes “Kommersant”. The network intends to develop in major cities. The basic concept of institutions is a combination of the restaurant with original cuisine and retail wine.

Each owner will have the opportunity to drink from the winery Tenuta Dodici in Tuscany, which is owned by Mikhalkov. The vineyard area totals 11 hectares, and the volume of production — about 70 thousand bottles a year. The cost of one varies from 1 to 5 thousand rubles.
