Microsoft finally decided to upgrade one of its oldest programs – Notepad. This is a classic standard Windows operating system, now it has several new useful features.
Updated Notepad appeared in Windows 10. Overall, the program has retained its traditional appearance. In this case we have added a few useful features. For example, the text in the window can now be resized. To do this, hold down the Ctrl button and make a mouse scroll, or press “+” or “-“.
Improved search functions and replace text. The latter are now in the search box, so another search is made easier.
Also in Notepad, support Ctrl + Backspace. It gives the possibility to highlight a word.
In addition, in Notepad, added the option to display line numbers if you disable the text wrapping in rows.
