Employees will no longer engage in further maintenance of the application.
With the release of Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 will be permanently discontinued support for the graphics editor Paint, the former an integral part of the OS for more than 30 years. Microsoft believes that software is outdated, and instead proposes to use the 3D Paint.
It is worth noting that the Internet community took the news quite joyless. Some users find that the Paint is almost a symbol of the Windows, and the cessation of support of the editor amounts to “murder.” Users also claim that 3D Paint, designed to replace conventional Paint, can boast as intuitive as its predecessor, and is ill-suited for working with 2D objects.
The patch Creators Fall Update is expected this fall.
