In the near future voice assistants, two digital giants will be able to use each other.
It is expected that users of Amazon Echo speakers and Amazon apps on Android will soon be able to activate Microsoft voice assistant with the command “Alexa open Cortana”. At the same time, the owners of computers based on Windows 10 will have the opportunity to run Alexa.
The head of Amazon Jeff Bezos suggested the head of Microsoft Satya nadella to combine the assistants in spring 2016. Reporters noted that such a partnership is uncharacteristic of large companies.
“Together, their strengths will complement each other and provide customers with a richer and even more rewarding experience,” said Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
