Mickey Rourke will be leading horror anthology Mick Garris

Joe Dante (“Gremlins”), David Slade (“Lollipop”), Ryuhei Kitamura (“Midnight Express”) and Alejandro Brugues (“Juan — Cuban fighter zombies”)… the Command new project of Mick Harris really impressive!

In 2015, we reported that the development is a new anthology of horror from the Creator of “Masters of horror”, but despite the powerful directing part of the “Theater of nightmares” (Nightmare Cinema) still has not seen the light.

Fresh news confirming that the project is still alive, was the accession to it of Mickey Rourke. The actor will have to be kind of a new crypt Keeper, who will guide viewers around the kaleidoscope of bad dreams.

The series tells about a few losers who were brought to an abandoned and spooky Rialto cinema, but only to strange ghostly figure of the Projectionist brought to life on the silver screen their darkest fears. The fate of all who attend these shows, is in the hands of a Ghost. But by the time until the visitors realize the truth, escape is not possible anymore. The tickets are broken, and now they will forever remain in the Theater of Nightmares.

So, the guys want to do something new, but in the spirit of old “Tales from the crypt”. And isn’t it amazing?

Mick Garris is producing the show, and to help him in this are Courtney Solomon (“Mr. Church”) and mark Canton (“300”) from the company Cinelou Films. In short, the guys are good.
