The number of victims of the earthquake grows
The number of victims of the powerful earthquake in Mexico has risen to 65 people.
This was announced by the President Enrique peña Nieto on his Twitter account.
“Unfortunately, 65 people have died because of the earthquake. For the commemoration of the dead and of expressing solidarity with their families, I declare three days of national mourning,” wrote he.
Recall that the epicentre was located 96 km South-West of the city Pijijiapan, and its center lies at a depth of 35 kilometers. The tremors started at 23:49 local time (07:49 in Kiev, September 9). Previously it was known 61 about the deceased.
