Details of the future visit of German Chancellor to Washington yet.
The first meeting of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. President Donald trump will be held in Washington on March 14. This was announced by government spokesman of Germany Steffen Seibert.
“The Chancellor will hold a March 14 meeting with President trump at the White house in Washington,” said Seibert.
He refused to provide details of the programme of the future visit, citing the fact that she is still under discussion by the parties. Topics that will be on the agenda are bilateral relations, transatlantic relations, the future of partnership in NATO.
Also Merkel will present their vision of cooperation in the framework of the “big twenty” in which Germany holds the presidency this year.
