Merkel explained its concern about the isolation of Qatar

Berlin will ensure that the region has observed a reasonable balance of forces, said the Chancellor.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged not to allow the isolation of Qatar.

“We hope for cooperation of countries in the cooperation Council States of the Persian Gulf,” said she in Mexico city, describing the situation as a credible concern.

According to the Chancellor of Germany, Berlin is not acting as a mediator in this conflict, but proceeding from its national interests will “ensure that in the region observed a reasonable balance of forces”.

Pointing to the need for measures against terrorism, Merkel at the same time stressed that the conflict cannot be resolved, “if the conversation absolutely will not be attracted by certain players – including Qatar, including Turkey, and including Iran.”

“A political solution is possible only when all support each other contact. We insist,” said the Chancellor of Germany.
