German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi to discuss the geopolitical conflicts in Ukraine and Syria. This was announced by a spokesman for the German government Steffen Seibert.
“This visit serves as a preparation for the G20 summit in Hamburg. In addition to the question of the G20 and other pressing foreign policy challenges will also be discussed, for example, the conflict in Ukraine and war in Syria,” said the spokesman.
