They are accused of embezzlement of budget funds
In the Russian Federation, two members of the leadership of the aviation detachment “Russia”, which is under the office of the President of the Russian Federation, was taken into custody.
So, Deputy General Director of “Russia” of Andrey Tyurin and the head of production of aviation technical base of the detachment of Alexander Rachtman accused of embezzlement of budget funds.
It is noted that members of the leadership of “Russia” was arrested on July 13, however it was only on August 16, when the Moscow city court considered the appeal on Rachtman elected a measure of restraint. The appeal was dismissed
According to the investigation, Rachtman and Tyurin instead of buy the program of import substitution in Russian manufactured mobile installation check of the hydraulic systems of aircraft, bought similar equipment from the Netherlands. It cost Russia 32 million more expensive than the domestic counterpart. The investigation suggests that part of the overpaid funds, the leaders of “Russia” received in the form of “rollback”.
In addition to members of the leadership of “Russia”, the defendants in the case brought under part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code (fraud in especially large size) are the General Director of OOO “Aero-SSS” Vladimir mikhalevskijj and company founder Eugene Vornovitsky. Equipment for “Russia” was purchased from this company.
According to the lawyers, Rachtman and Tyurin pleaded not guilty. Large sums of money during the searches they found nothing.
