Members of the ISS crew had walked in space

The astronauts will work in the open space about 6.5 hours.

NASA astronaut Robert Shane Kimbrough and pesquet from the European space Agency started the first of three spacewalks.

They will work on maintenance of the space station, said NASA.

“The output of astronauts in space took place in 7.24 time ET”, — reported in the official blog space of the Agency.

The astronauts will have to disconnect the cables and wiring PMA-3. 26 March will be using the hand-paddle to move from the residential Tranquility module to the space facing in the direction of the connecting module Harmony. Also astronauts will perform an inspection of the radiator, ISS.

It is planned that the astronauts will work in the open space about 6.5 hours.
