In Kuzbas criminal case was initiated after the murder of the former mayor of Kiselevsk Sergei Lavrentyev, whose body was found on the evening of 31 October in the garden of his house.
According to SK Russian Federation, the former head of the city were shot by the attackers and killed one of them, the man’s body was found at the crime scene. He was about 40 years old.
It is noted that the wife Lavrentiev night, noticed a light from a flashlight and silhouettes of people, and the husband took a gun and went to check. Soon, the woman heard shots and later found in the yard of the dead bodies.
The case is considered under article “Murder of two and more persons” (part 2 of article 105 of the criminal code). Presumably, we are talking about armed assault, which could be business.
Declared wanted by five people, one of which could be a neighbor Lavrent’ev.
Motives yet to be determined. Among the versions considered attempted robbery. Earlier sources in law enforcement bodies allowed the conflict over business and talked about the dozens of spent cartridges found at the murder scene, and also that the search is declared at least five people.
According to investigators, the man could have shot Lavrentiev lived in a “neighboring town”.
Meanwhile, a law enforcement source told the portal Tayga.info that place found dozens of spent cartridges from a pistol-machine gun “Kedr”, consisting on arms of special services. It is also known that the scene moved at least five cars. It is noted that the use of “Cedar” indicates the high level of the killer, or high position of the customer in the criminal hierarchy.
Earlier, unknown assailants shot and killed former head of Kiselevsk 59-year-old Sergei Lavrent’ev in the village of Verkh-Chumysh. He led the city for 16 years and resigned in 2018 on their own.
