The French Parliament today has deprived the leader of the national front parliamentary immunity.
The national Assembly (the lower chamber of Parliament) of France has deprived the leader of the national front party marine Le Pen’s parliamentary immunity. On Wednesday, November 8, reported Agence France-Presse, citing informed parliamentary sources.
It is noted that Le Pen stripped of immunity for the publication on his page in the social network Twitter photos of one of the victims of the Islamic state group.
Earlier in fact this publication was initiated judicial proceedings.
The decision to remove Le Pen’s immunity has been approved by the Bureau of the National Assembly – the highest collegial body of the lower house of the French Parliament.
Earlier, Le Pen accused of using the speech of her opponent françois Fillon, lost in the first round of elections.
