Russia has spent not less than 7,5 billion rubles for the Syrian campaign of the aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov”. To such conclusion came in the RBC, estimated the probable cost of the operation.
Main expenditures were for the loss of two fighters, the MiG-29K and su-33, which crashed while landing. Based on the export value of fighting vehicles, replacing them will cost from 4.5 to 6.7 billion rubles.
Food expenses of the crew in RBC was estimated at the sum from 306 to 326 million rubles, the cost of fuel to carrier strike group ships — from 1.1 to 1.5 billion rubles. “Combat” bonuses for the crew amounted to no less than 38 million rubles.
Directly on combat missions for strikes on targets in Syria was spent about half a billion rubles. Only with the “Admiral Kuznetsov” has made 420 flights.
The total cost of the operation could range from 7.5 to 10 billion rubles, RBC. The real cost of the campaign may be longer, as data on the use of the submarine fleet and armament of the ships in operation was not published by the war Department.
