In January-June 2018 year compared to the same period last year prices rose by 24.5%.
For the first six months of 2018 compared to the same period last year the price of meat and meat products increased by 24.5%. According to the State statistics service on Wednesday, July 11.
In the June 2018 consumer prices for meat and meat products increased by 17.5% compared to June last year.
It is also noted that in June of this year the price of meat and meat products remained at the level of last may.
In the state statistics service said that the price data do not take into account information from the Crimea and uncontrolled territories of Donbass.
Earlier it was reported that in the first two weeks of June the price of all types of meat in Ukraine fell. Most cheaper beef – by 4.24%, to 118,9 UAH per kilogram. Almost the same amount has fallen in price chicken – by 4.21%, to 93.6 UAH per kg. At the same time, pork prices dropped only by 2.82% to 104,4 UAH per kg.
We will remind, in the first six months of the 2018 year, Ukraine increased its imports of pork to eight times.
