Us Senator John McCain plans to discuss with the US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson the abolition of restrictions on the supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine.
He stated this on Saturday in Brussels.
“One of the issues I want to discuss with him (Tillerson ed.), the abolition of restrictions on the supply of lethal defensive weapons for Ukraine,” McCain said.
He stressed that “Putin continues aggression against Ukraine, Ukrainians are dying”.
“We have to give them weapons to protect themselves”, – said us Senator.
According to him, the priority in this matter to the United States should be providing anti-tank missile complexes “Javelin” and contributorily radar stations.
McCain also stressed that the Ukrainian military significantly raised its level of combat capability.
