Mazda has confirmed the release of the SUV CX-8

The company will launch a series of new crossover with three rows of seats.

Company Mazda has confirmed the release of a new SUV, which will be called the CX-8. While the manufacturer has only distributed a single teaser of this car, which implies, that he will get three rows of seats and seats.

In their overall size, the novelty will be slightly less than the CX-9. Its overall length is 4900 mm (175 mm shorter than the CX-9), width — 1840 mm (129 mm less) and the height is 1730 mm (17 mm below).

The wheelbase will remain the same as in the CX-9 is 2930 mm.

The new crossover will be offered with 2.2-liter petrol “turboservice”, is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Also, the model will be available with petrol engines, front and all-wheel drive.

At the moment the company intends to sell Mazda CX-8 only in Japan. Whether subsequently revised the plans, the manufacturer does not specify.
