From October 2016 Panfilov was in a hospital jail “Butyrka”.
The judge of the Zamoskvoretsky district court of Moscow Elena Averchenko recognized the person from Astrakhan Maxim Panfilov guilty of participation in mass riots on Bolotnaya square in 2012 (“Swamp thing”) and sent him for compulsory treatment.
Such a punishment for the defendant requested the prosecution. The Panfilov asserted that did not participate in the riots, although he was in the Swamp area during the “March of millions”.
Panfilova also was convicted of assaulting a police officer.
We will remind, on may 6, 2012 in Moscow held a protest action against the inauguration of Vladimir Putin on Bolotnaya square. Between protesters and police clashes, which injured more than 400 people. In connection with the riots and attacks on police officers were prosecuted, which was called “Swamp thing”.
Panfilova was detained in April 2016. Investigators identified him on video where he allegedly rips off helmet of a policeman. Medical examination found him insane, from October 2016, he was in a hospital on the territory of the SIZO “Butyrka”.
In March 2016, Sledkov RF saw in the riots on Bolotnaya square on funding from the United States.
