Maxim Matveev and Elizabeth boyar played Vronsky, and Karenin in the new project

Out the trailer for the film “Anna Karenina. History Vronsky” — the new film adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s novel. The film was made by classic Russian movie by Karen Shakhnazarov.

The famous history of love in this time interpreted in new ways. The action begins in 1904, in the midst of the Russo-Japanese war. The wounded Colonel Vronsky is in the Manchurian countryside, where encounters with the surgeon Sergei Karenin, who needs it to operate. Night Sergei Karenin comes to the house to Vronsky and asks her to tell him why his mother, Anna Karenina, which the count knew thirty years ago, threw herself under a train.

The film surprises with its scale. For the pattern has been created many monumental decorations, among which the Chinese village, the House Karenina, Vronsky, oblonskys exaltation, nobility, and even the racetrack. Even for the famous scene at the “Mosfilm” was built a special giant decoration.
The main roles in the film played the wife Maxim Matveev and Elizabeth boyar. The actors previously worked together, but this role was special. Including Elizabeth, who, in her words, wanted to play Karenina life.

The movie will be released on 8 June. Also, the tape will be adapted to serial films.
