Massive fire in Moscow: 18 victims

In Moscow in TTS “RIO” a major fire broke out.

A fire in a shopping complex “RIO” in the North-East of Moscow on the area of 1 thousand square meters was liquidated. This was told by the Deputy mayor Pyotr Biryukov.

The Agency TASS was told in the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow that the fire was fought more than 400 people and 118 units of equipment.

It is also reported that firefighters rescued from a burning building at the address: Dmitrovskoe shosse, 163A, building 1 four. “Rescuers made their way to people who find themselves locked in a room filled with smoke buildings”, — said the Agency interlocutor. In turn, the “Interfax” found that the state saved is estimated as very heavy, they are taken to intensive care.

The Ministry also specified that the number of victims of the fire reached 18 people, 14 of them have already been taken to hospital. Earlier it was reported more than 20 wounded.

The fire was assigned the fourth rank to fire.

Earlier to extinguish the fire were involved in the fire train with 180 tons of fire extinguishing.
