New information on the timing of the launch of the Samsung smartphone with a folding case and an appropriate screen. According to these data, the pipeline is expected to be launched this year, but not earlier than the second half.
The information came from one of Samsung partners in the supply chain of components. As stated, most likely the launch will take place in the fourth quarter, but the first models will be announced no earlier than the beginning of 2018. Actually, it all depends on most Samsung, because to make a foldable case is not difficult — much more difficult to come up with a flexible screen. The Korean vendor already has these developments, and they are based on the technology of AMOLED, that is, the screens are not only flexible, but bright and juicy.
Curious fact that Samsung are already a few ready-made foldable mobile phones, and even brought on the show MWC 2017 at the end of this month, only to see them not everyone can. Gadgets called Galaxy X1 and X1 Plus will show at a private event in the framework of the exhibition, so that among the witnesses are only potential investors.
