Manchester city for 50 million bought a Tottenham defender

English clubs Manchester city and Tottenham have agreed on one of the biggest transfers in the history of the Premier League.

The main goal of Manchester city star Brazilian defender Dani Alves, however, ex-footballer of “Barcelona” and “Juventus” recently signed a two-year contract with PSG.

The bulls had to resume negotiations with Tottenham for the 27-year-old England defender Kyle Walker. The parties could not reach a compromise, but in the end the transaction was completed.

According to “Sky Sports” for Walker Manchester city laid out £ 50 million and this transfer was a repetition of the record among defenders. Three years ago, “PSG” for the same 50 million acquired from Chelsea David Luiz.

In Manchester city Walker replaced the Argentine veteran Pablo Zabaleta, who played at the club since 2008. The Englishman has signed a contract with the club for five years.

Walker has logged in “Tottenham” since 2009. All tournaments flank defender played 229 matches in which he scored four goals and gave 21 assist.

Kyle Walker is the third newcomer Manchester city in the summer transfers. Previously, the team of Josep Guardiola was joined by midfielder Bernardo Silva and goalkeeper Ederson.
