Malaysia is one of the few countries that have preserved friendly relations with the DPRK.
Malaysia declared a ban its citizens to travel to North Korea until further notice due to the rising tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
The Agency notes that Malaysia is one of the few countries that have preserved friendly relations with the DPRK between countries, however tensions arose after the killing, Kim Jong Us, the brother of the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-UN, at the airport of Kuala Lumpur.
According to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Malaysia, the ban on travel to North Korea will be revised as soon as the situation normalizes.
Team Malaysia football should play with the national team of the DPRK in Pyongyang on 5 October in the framework of the Asian Cup. Earlier this match twice postponed because of security reasons.
It is not known whether malaysiai allowed the team to go to Pyongyang, despite the ban.
