“In the night from 27 to 28 April 2019, over 4.3 million people took part in the celebration of Easter more than 7.4 thousand towns across Russia. In the Orthodox churches, churches and monasteries took place about 12 thousand solemn worship, liturgies and processions dedicated to the Light of Christ’s Resurrection,” — said the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina Wolf. Rounding the population of Russia to 147 million people, we receive almost 3 percent of the population. This is the number of people for whom Orthodoxy is not an empty phrase, and the reason to participate in the night service in honor of the main Church holiday.
Honestly, I can’t imagine why (except for the extreme infirmity) in which the believer did not do this — at present some extent of hemostasia.
I suspect, in Yekaterinburg, the figures are comparable. All who really need a Church in it. And those who without it costing at Easter, and other days as something to do, right?
This is the question about why all the time the buses and sectioned. Yes, because voluntarily willing to participate are very few, and the authorities can’t disappoint — it lives in a magical world where Russia is an Orthodox country and the heart of each city — Church.
