The Spanish government rejected the possibility of dialogue with Catalonia.
The Spanish government rejected the proposal of the head of Catalonia Carles Pokdemon to negotiate on secession of the region with the participation of intermediaries.
The government noted that negotiations will be possible only when Catalonia will give up the policy of the Department.
“The government will not negotiate anything illegal and will not accept blackmail,” reads the government statement.
Earlier, the leader of Catalonia Carles Pujdeme called on Madrid to negotiate on secession of the region with the participation of intermediaries.
“We received several offers over the last few hours, and we get a new,” – said Pujdeme.
At the same time, he stressed that he will not refuse from plans for independence.
However, as stated by the leader of the Catalan side, the Spanish government has no “positive response”.
