The President of France Emmanuel macron called on to unite all the forces of defense of the EU countries into a single Union army for a more active fight against terrorism. This proposal of the French leader made during a speech to students at the Sorbonne.
“Safety is the Foundation of any political community, meanwhile, Europe is faced with a dual challenge – the alienation of the US and the threat of terrorism,” said macron.

According to the French leader, the European army should appear by 2020 in addition to the armed NATO forces.
In addition, macron said the current Europe “too weak, too slow, too inefficient.” And I am sure that the European Nations should re-create an independent, unified and democratic Europe.
