Russia Today and Sputnik were spreading false information and defamation.
The President of France Emmanuel macron at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin called state television channel, Russia Today, and Russian news Agency Sputnik “bodies lying propaganda”.
Thus he answered the question of why the members of the Russian media, Russia Today and Sputnik was denied access to his campaign staff during the election campaign.
“Russia Today and Sputnik were spreading false information and slander, and I believe that they didn’t have room in my headquarters during the election campaign,” – said the President of France.
