The President of France Emmanuel macron took a ride on a nuclear submarine “Le Terribl”, immersed to a depth.
It is reported that on Board the submarines, the French leader spent a few hours taking part in exercises simulating the launch of nuclear missiles.
Note that the Macron was lowered to the submarine from a helicopter on ropes, as he boasted on his Twitter. The submarine itself was 300 miles from the coast.
The French leader noted that the nuclear deterrent of France are a Bastion of security.
Simulated nuclear launch was part of the programme of President’s visit to naval base Ile-longue, where he spent the day.
It was there that all four French nuclear submarines equipped with nuclear ballistic missiles.
