National Agency on corruption prevention check lottery winnings of 571 thousand hryvnia, people’s Deputy and leader of the Radical party, Oleg Lyashko in the next year, during the inspection of the declarations for 2017. This is stated in the response of the NACP at the request of the Ukrainian truth.
It is noted that under article 48 of the law of Ukraine On prevention of corruption, lottery winnings in excess of 50 times the subsistence minimum, the message which Lyashko submitted to the Unified state register of declarations October 24, will be checked during a full inspection of annual returns for 2017.
“However, given the constraints imposed by article 23 of the law regarding the receipt of gifts in accordance with articles 251, 255 of the code of Ukraine on administrative offences and article 12-13 of the law, the National Agency is collecting actual data on the basis of which it is determined the presence or absence of administrative offenses, connected with corruption”, – said in response to NACP.
