The leader of Radical party Oleg Lyashko invited the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the upcoming meeting with the American President Donald trump to raise the issue of recognizing Ukraine’s main US ally out of NATO.
This is stated on the Facebook page Lyashko.
He stressed that he had conducted an important meeting with Poroshenko.
“At the initiative of our faction, the Verkhovna Rada adopted an appeal to the U.S. Congress on recognizing Ukraine’s main US ally out of NATO and the need to conclude a direct military agreement between the two countries. We look forward to hearing from the American partners of the response to our appeal,” wrote Lyashko.
“This agreement will mean the actual implementation of U.S. guarantees of Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum, and will save the lives of thousands of brave Ukrainian servicemen and civilians to overcome the Russian aggression and to restore peace in Ukraine”, – said the leader of the Radical party.
