Participants in the March of fame ZUNR chanted “Glory!” to the Sich Riflemen.
In Lviv on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the creation of the Western Ukrainian people’s Republic was held a March of glory and theatrical military-historical event.
About 100 residents and historical re-enactors from other regions of Ukraine, dressed in the uniform of soldiers of the Ukrainian Galician army marched through the city center accompanied by military vehicles and a brass band of the Lviv state University of life safety, performing the songs of the Sich Riflemen and marches.
The Marchers chanted glory, “Glory to the Sich Riflemen!”, that 99 years ago, helped to proclaim the creation of ZUNR.
Later, the activists held a theatrical military-historical event “the Battle for the capital – Lviv”, which recreated the events of 1918. Reconstruction of events occurred in those places where they took place 99 years ago.
