Lviv deputies decided to misappropriate a tidy sum

The Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings against a Deputy of the Lviv regional Council due to submission of deliberately false information in the electronic Declaration.

On it informs a press-service of Prosecutor’s office in Lviv region.

“The results of processing the data of the website of the National Agency for prevention of corruption has established that the Deputy of the Lviv regional Council in 2016 the income received in the form of wages and income from sale (exchange) of real property in the sum more than 300 thousand UAH. At the same time, the official Declaration for the year 2016 for information in respect of the above income is not observed”, – stated in the message.

The Deputy is not reflected in e-Declaration of 1/4 share apartments, located on his private property rights, said the Prosecutor’s office.

The Prosecutor’s office began pre-trial investigation under article 366-1 of the criminal code.
