Polish airline wants to combine a direct flight Lviv and gdańsk.
The largest Polish airline ” LOT ” can acccess the direct flight between the airport of Lviv and Gdansk.
About it the Polish edition fly4free said the head of airport Gdansk Tomasz Kloskowski.
“Talked to a LOT, which is concentrated mainly on the development of a network of routes from Warsaw, but look very carefully to tracks from Bydgoszcz and Poznan to Lviv. If there are good indicators, they would be very interested to open such flight from Gdansk” – said Kloskowski.
Now LOT flies from Lviv to Bydgoszcz and Poznan twice a week and performs flights Lviv-Warsaw several times a day.
In 2016, a few months MAU was flying from Ivano-Frankovsk to Gdansk, however, ceased operations. “The decision to cancel the flight was made in a commercial complex UIA on the basis of the analysis of economy on that flight. This decision was also influenced by the fact that flights to gdańsk started to perform another airline-loukoster”, – commented the situation in a press-service MAU.
From 2 August 2016 direct flights between Kiev and Gdansk carries a Hungarian low-cost Wizz Air. 13 April 2017 the public sector began flying between Lviv and Wroclaw.
