This applies to large taxpayers.
Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko has signed a decree which prohibits the conduct of searches at the large taxpayers without the permission of the management of GPU. He said this at a briefing in Zhytomyr, which was broadcast channel 112 Ukraine.
“I am unhappy that so-called mask show occur daily in dozens of companies, including major tax payers and small businesses. So right here at the meeting I signed a document stating that any searches of large payers of taxes are solely with the permission of the management of GPU. Accordingly, the large taxpayers of the regions with the permission of the respective Deputy areas and all other small business leaders of the local Prosecutor’s office. Now whom to ask, if the big retailers will be notch electronics just to wait until you get asylum and then the case will be closed. If the demonstrations, and the case is closed after six months, I will consider it as illegal pressure on businesses,” he said.
Lutsenko also said that business in Ukraine should become a “sacred cow”.
“One that pays taxes, one that pulls on itself all difficult social and military situation in Ukraine should be protected. Today there’s a special control system,” – said the head of the GPU.
