There are signs of tax evasion in especially large sizes.
The Prosecutor General’s office has opened proceedings against a Deputy from the Opposition bloc Alexander Vilkul on suspicion of tax evasion. About that Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko reported today at a press conference in the river.
Lutsenko showed journalists a document and quoted: “21.07 11:51 was entered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation materials of law enforcement bodies about the fact that Vilkul Alexander, probably, have evaded from payment of taxes in especially large sizes”.
Lutsenko said that the Prosecutor’s office has information from the State fiscal service of the Dnipropetrovsk region that the results of unscheduled audits according to Vilkul, there are signs of tax evasion in especially large sizes.
“We need to do some more action with the attorney, then expertise to present a suspicion Vilkul. In the case that we’ll get to that over the top of it… I’ll have to obtain the consent of the Verkhovna Rada”, – he said.
The attorney General said that in case of missing payment of taxes, a case can be closed. “But it depends on the Mr. Vilkul” – he added.
