The Prosecutor General of Ukraine said about 1.2 million unsolved cases.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that the Prosecutor General’s office together with the National anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine is investigating 1.2 million cases.
“The problem is that my organization is much more NABOO. I have 10 thousand employees, including 800 investigators. From NABOO only 220 detectives. Together we are responsible for 150 thousand government officials, but at the moment there are 1.2 million cases,” – said Lutsenko during the interview.
According to him, the conflict with NABU lies in insufficient resources and low financial criteria of abuse for referral to a NEB in 30 thousand euros.
The attorney General determined to bring to court cases for all persons, which the NAB suspected of corruption.
According to him, was not the case to the Prosecutor General’s office refused to investigate the case at the request of NABOO.
