Lukashenko will arrive in Russia on exercises

The President of Belarus to Russia was not invited.

Press Secretary of the President of Belarus Natalia Eismont said that the official invitation to Alexander Lukashenko to attend the exercises “West-2017” in Russia is not reported.

In a Friday newspaper Kommersant, citing a senior military-diplomatic source said that Lukashenko may not come to Russia for military exercises “Zapad” and will monitor their progress in the Belarusian polygons.

“In fact, the official invitation to the head of state to come to this teaching in Russia did not arrive”, – quotes the press-Secretary of the BelTA news Agency.

Strategic exercises “West-2017” held 14-20 September on the territory of Belarus, as well as on three sites of the Russian Federation. The total number of the personnel participating in the exercises, is 12.7 thousand military personnel.
