The heads of Belarus and Russia met in Moscow.
The presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko have started in the Kremlin the second week meet eye to eye.
Before the talks Putin, referring to his Belarusian counterpart, said that according to agreements reached earlier between Moscow and Minsk, created a working group for the further development of mutual economic relations.
He suggested to “compare notes, as it continues this work.”
In turn, Lukashenko thanked the Russian President for the invitation, joking that “I’m tired, but have each other to annoy can not, because there are issues that need to examine is our job.”
The head of Belarus recalled that the last time the sides agreed to seriously work on acute issues of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that after the Christmas holidays, the working group will assume his duties.
